Yes — Hoppie works with many 3-wheel strollers and joggers. It depends on the frame, so send us your model if you're unsure.

Is Hoppie compatible with umbrella strollers?

Generally no. Classic ultra-light umbrella strollers don't have the rigid rear frame Hoppie needs to attach safely. If yours has a sturdy tubular frame, send us a photo to check.

Is Hoppie compatible with travel strollers?

Yes — most travel strollers with a sturdy frame work well with Hoppie.

Is Hoppie compatible with double strollers?

It can, if your double stroller has a central rear bar (or a central lower attachment point). Without one, Hoppie isn't wide enough to fit securely.

Is Hoppie compatible with a bassinet?

Hoppie is primarily designed for strollers with a standard seat. It may be compatible with some bassinets, as long as there is enough space at the back of the stroller for your child to sit comfortably and safely. If the bassinet takes up all the rear space, Hoppie cannot be used properly.

Can I use Hoppie with an infant car seat?

Can I use Hoppie with parent-facing and forward-facing strollers?

Hoppie is designed mainly for forward-facing seats. It can sometimes work parent-facing if there's enough space at the back — send us a photo to check.

What is Hoppie?

Hoppie is a clip-on hammock-style seat designed to attach to the back of most strollers. It creates a secure, comfortable spot for your older child (18 months to 4 years) to sit and rest — no need for a bulky double stroller.

What age is Hoppie suitable for?

Hoppie is recommended for toddlers between 18 months and 5 years old, who can sit independently without support.

The maximum weight limit is 20 kg / 44 lbs.

How long does it take to install Hoppie?

Less than 30 seconds. Simply attach the top straps to the stroller handles, and the bottom straps to the frame near the wheels, then adjust the angle. No tools required.

Is it safe to attach a seat to the back of my stroller?

Yes, when used as instructed. Hoppie includes 4 secure straps (Velcro + carabiner hooks) to ensure strong attachment to most stroller frames.

However, you should:

Always supervise your child during use
Follow your stroller’s official weight and balance guidelines
Never use Hoppie if it affects the stability or steering of your stroller

Has Hoppie been safety tested?

Yes. Hoppie is designed and tested for safe everyday use when installed correctly and used with adult supervision.

Does my child need to wear a seatbelt?

For short seated rest periods (city walks, parks, travel), Hoppie includes an integrated toddler belt designed to secure younger children when needed. Many parents use it without the belt for older, more stable toddlers — but for extra safety, the harness can be easily used.

Can I use Hoppie on uneven ground?
